before i began typing this introductory blog, i closed my eyes and envisioned just how many people i could potentially be addressing and instantly a room filled with hundreds of people flashed before me. then i thought for a second, what do i say to an audience that large that i have never before captured and these words came to mind..........
LET'S STOP THE WAR...... after getting that out, my introduction began like this.
hello, everyone: i want to begin by introducing myself to the global community. my name is pam and i am 44 years young. i have a partner, two wonderful kids, a college degree, fabulous friends, exceptional brothers and loving parents. this sounds like the beginnings of fairy tale but the fact of the matter is, it's far from it. i am an american with african ancestry, european ancestry and God only knows what else, but for all intents and purposes, in this country i am an african-american woman, but i prefer the term Black Woman. anyway, i graduated college with honors, my daughter is in college and my son is in private school. so why am i not living the so-called "american dream?" well, hopefully my dreams are just deferred!
on my journey to fulfilling my dreams, i would like to pick up a few more interesting folk along the way. i am involved in a few business ventures, trying to make my mark on this world wide communication network. it's not very easy to get noticed on this super-fast highway unless you do something that REALLY stands out from the crowd. i have not yet figured out what that SOMETHING is going to be yet; however, rest assured that my mind is in overdrive.
first i would like to start by saying that there is a theme to my blog and that is to discuss solutions that will help the people in my community reach the next level of their financial endeavors, and in-between time, i will strive to entertain you with stories from my past, present and dreams.... i am nowhere near where i want to be financially (mentally or physically either, now that i think about it), nonetheless, i am striving and researching opportunities and i intend to bring those ideas and solutions to you as they come to me and prayerfully we will all reach our goals together.
